The Ferguson Club Annual East Anglia Ploughing Match.

The Ferguson Club Annual East Anglia Ploughing Match.

A beautiful sunny morning, a fantastic venue and good organisation can only mean one thing, the Annual Ploughing Match of The Ferguson Club in East Anglia.

By kind permission of Mr Andrew Long of Hall Farm, Bury St Edmunds this event took place on Sunday 4th October and as usual was well organised by Henry Castle and Don Sapsford. Some 40 vintage and classic tractors took part, including members of the Ford and Fordson Association. The competition was judged by three judges from The Society of Ploughmen whom we thank sincerely. All ploughmen received a plaque sponsored by Silver Fox Tractor Spares and a donation of £100 was sent to The East Anglian Air Ambulance.
