An interesting 30 min video filmed in 1958 of Mr Evans’ Gilfachwyth Farm near Llandysul in Cardiganshire, West Wales. It was a model of organised and efficient modern farming methods – it was selected to be highlighted for the 1958 Royal Welsh Show. This information film offers a plethora of detail about farming methods using Ferguson TE20 tractors. From fertilisers, ploughing and grazing to reaping, hay making and sheep shearing – but it’s far from a dry instructional.
