Marsham Show

Marsham Show Report (10-11th August 2019)

On Friday 9th August Ian Miller, the Area representative for Norfolk and the Lincolnshire team arrived at Marsham in Norfolk to prepare the Ferguson Club stand ready for the visitors to the Marsham Show on Saturday and Sunday.

David Chapman, John Sharpe, Nigel Harness, Adrian Wells and Ralph Wells arrived with their tractors and some implements, and John and Judy came with caravan in tow to park alongside the stand.

The tractors exhibited were:
MF 135, MF 35X, MF 35 Vineyard, Ferguson P3, Ferguson TEF. Both Ferguson’s had implements attached.

The flags and banners were put in place and the marquee was set up with tables and chairs to welcome visitors over the weekend. We had a few hair-raising moments with the high winds and extra straps and pegs were hastily added to the marquee. Current members were welcomed, new members enrolled, and Ian was on hand to chat with the locals. It was a lovely social weekend and John Sharpe won the Best Massey Ferguson In Show with his Massey Ferguson 135.

We were surrounded by other clubs, some we know well, and some new friendships were formed.
Bob Parke and his team certainly pulled out all the stops to provide a memorable weekend where many charities benefited. We are really looking forward to The Ferguson Club attending next year. If members from Norfolk would like the opportunity to exhibit on the Club Stand in 2020 please contact Ian Miller 01379 676278.
