The engine in question is the early version of the P3, fitted to the petrol and petrol /TVO Ferguson models as an aftermarket conversion (TA) to provide more horse power.This engine had the square plate on the underside of the sump and had the timing of the engine done via a chain.

I am trying track down my wife’s late grandfathers 135. He played a big part in her upbringing and his 135 was his pride and joy, with my wife having lots of fond memories of it.
It’s her 40th next year and I’m trying to track it down as a surprise for her. It is a Massey Ferguson 135 and is showing as taxed until April 2026, so it is somewhere still! Below is a picture of him on it shortly before he died. I’d really appreciate any info anyone may have on it as to its whereabouts as I’d love to be able to buy it back.
