“First registered in July 1952 according to the original registration book, this petrol grey fergie is chassis number TE/A 283316. Originally registered in Shropshire, where it spent most of its life, it was bought in 2015 by a former Massey Ferguson employee in Ledbury, Herefordshire, where it was restored in 2016. Road registered, I acquired the tractor almost 10 years ago and it has since been regularly used to maintain 10 acres in Perthshire – typically using a set of tine harrows or a 4ft topper, delivering bales of hay to the Highlanders or moving logs with the front loader.
