Hello,
We have got a Ferguson TEF 20, and recently we have been using it under more load (hauling logs in a 3 tonne trailer). On our third load, the middle core plug on the engine came out, leading to a loss of all of our coolant. We hammered the plug back in, and put sealent around it. We refilled it with coolant. However, we have now noticed when we run the engine, that coolant is dripping from the bottom of the water pump, there is a hole on the bootom of the water pump, as there should be and we are wondering weather it should have a plug in it or not. Does anyone know weather this should have a plug or rubber bung in it. If it isnt meant to have anything in the hole, does anyone know why there is water dripping out at a steady rate when running the engine. One thourght that a seal may have gone inside, but we arent sure.
Thanks.
