First post here. Please be gentle as I’m new to this.
Bought a 35x about 2 months back and today changed oil and filter, I expected to see a spring in the bottom of the canister, but didn’t. Unsure why it didn’t have one and I assume it should have had.
Moving on - No spring, where can I get one from? Or can I buy a replacement canister assembly complete?
I’ve seen a spring available, but on eBay and from India. Does anyone in UK do them?
Also - any drawings of spring assembly available? Like how it goes together.

In the bottom of the filter housing there should be a spring and a washer that the filter sits on, I see on the internet you can buy a repair kit for the inside of the filter housing. In the next club Journal which is out shortly I have an article about what should be in the oil filter housing. Depending how authentic you want to keep your tractor, there is a spin on filter option available as a kit to replace the old filter head.
