Oil capacity and grade for axle/gearbox

Hi, can't seem to find anything on here (maybe not looked hard enough !)

I think the oil capacity for the gearbox and axle is about 23 litres but what grade oil is used .. SAE 90 ?

Hi Mike.
23 Litres or 5 Gallon is the amount of oil. When the Tractor was new it would have 40 grade oil in the engine and backend. You can still purchase classic 40 grade oil, lots of companies on the internet selling the oil.
