Quadrant help needed

Hi everyone I have a problem that the cork ring has rotted away on the quadrant lever and so the lever just springs back to the top, I have a new cork ring and a new aluminium cover (just in case it broke <however< I have heated the cover up sprayed a ton of WD40 on it and it still will not move does anyone know
1. where I can buy a new quadrant and shaft
2 if those parts are not available then does anyone near Spalding have a large heated oil bath I can place it quadrant in to see if that frees it off
or any ideas how to remove the aluminium cover

Hi Nicholas.

With a hacksaw or small angle grinder cut a slot in the aluminium part you are trying to remove and split it open.
