I own a 1952 Ferguson TED-20 and it has a vertical exhaust silencer (i believe this is what it is called). We have been building a new shed for the tractor and it is too tall to fit into the new shed. I have seen fergies with downswept exhaust silencers and I would like to know if these can be fitted onto any model of ferguson TE20 manifold. Thanks.

There are down swept exhaust kits available from parts suppliers that include the parts that you require, gasket, down pipe, silencer, and bracket. You will have to remove the bend that`s held with the 2 bolts and the new part will bolt on there going down the way.
