TEF20 Poor and no start

Sorry took a while to reply, I am south west Scotland so a little way from you David, I have engine stripped out now, going to give it a full rebuild, then I know it’s right then, as don’t intend selling anytime soon

Would be interested to know which route and what you are replacing....my TEF breathes which many say needs some hard work after having been stood and others say needs new rings.
Just fitting new rings seems a heck of a job to do with getting conrods up liners etc...yoy can tell never done it...but just thoughts for a possible job another day
