External hydralics

Hi i have a ted20 and want to run a flail mower, anything above 1.5m requires too much power and the 1.5 i feel would be borderline so i will have to go with 1.25 or 1.35m. The problem i have is that the tractor is wider than the mower so cutting up to the edges will be impossible. I can pay extra and get one with hydraulic sideshift which would solve the problem but create 2 more. 1. can and how would i fit external hydraulics ? 2. will it be workable with the non live drive?

If you are still not sorted out, what I would do is buy the mower with the ram take the ram off move the mower fully over & make a bar to hold it in that position. The clutch will be workable but not ideal.

Thanks for that, I managed to get 1.55m flail with a bigger offset which should be enough to extend over one side. Just waiting on delivery now
