Had te20. For two months ,starting and running well.
Came to start it yesterday after stood two weeks while painting,engine would not turn over.starter motor sounded as though it was spinning.removed starter motor,Lucas motor stamped 6volt.my battery is 12volt.battery charge full.I am no mechanic,but this didn't look right.any advice welcome.

Hi Alan, your tractor would originally be 6 volts which could be bad starters, converting them to 12 volts and still using the 6 volt starter. The coil, control box and dynamo should have been changed to 12 volts. if you look on the website in the club members area, under technical notes there is an article about changing from 6 to 12 volts.
