TEF20 ROLLOVER BAR
Can anyone help me in locating a used ROLLOVER BAR/HOOP for our TEF20, that my 16yr old son would like to start using for log hauling with a 1 tonne trailer we have. I can only find NEW (non original) roll bars advertised at £450-£500 which seems a crazy price to me. I would prefer an original Ferguson unit if possible, but happy to consider any decent second hand unit that will fit without modification. We are Warwickshire based and can collect anywhere within a 50 mile radius.
Re: TEF20 ROLLOVER BAR
Hi.
Don't think Ferguson ever made Roll Bars. One Manufacture that made roll bars for older tractors was Lawrence Edwards back in the seventies when it became compulsory to have a roll bar fitted. You sometimes find them at vintage sales.
Sandy.

Re: TEF20 ROLLOVER BAR
Ditto. I'm fairly sure Ferguson never made one.
For a grey, I always thought the rounded rollbar suits them best. Others tend to look on the overly heavy side of things.
From personal experience, beware of the type with a separate crossbar as they tend to shake themselves apart.
I'm sure we have an Exmoor frame here located in surrey but probably a bit overkill for what you need.
