gearbox filling

Hello , when i put new oil in on plug beside gearstick , i believe fills gearbox , diff and hydraulics ?

How do i check level is correct ?

Assuming we're talking TE20, yes the filler by the gearstick fills right through. 5 gallons or there abouts, dip stick is on the right side access panel, opposite to where the pto lever is on the left access panel.
