Re: gearbox filling
Assuming we're talking TE20, yes the filler by the gearstick fills right through. 5 gallons or there abouts, dip stick is on the right side access panel, opposite to where the pto lever is on the left access panel.

Re: Foam filled tyres
We put oko in our hedging tractor. Came out to a flat one morning, pulled the tube out and there were 15 other holes already sealed. the tube had run out of fluid. Assuming you're on 4.00x19 fronts, you could fit some 16" rims and fit 7.50x16 8 or 10 ply truck tyres just for hedging. Could make...

Re: Foam filled tyres
We kept getting punctures in our hedge cutter so tried oko, then suprise one morning - flat tyre. when we took the tube out there were 15 other holes that the oko had sealed. It didn't so much deteriorate as ran out of fluid. Assuming you're on 4.00x19 4 ply fronts, an option would be to get some 16...

Re: 3 point fixing dropping when pressing the clutch
This was a long time ago now, but from what I remember you have to go in through the side plates first and disconnect the control valve fork from the valve before you lift.
Good idea to have a couple of saw horses ready to rest the lid onto as the control linkage hangs down.

Re: 3 point fixing dropping when pressing the clutch
Hi, had the same with our TEF. We had the pump out several times to no avail so in desperation took the top off. The oil feed from the pump goes through a gallery in the baseplate, then up inside the side of the gearbox casting and into the piston via another gallery in the top casting. Our problem ...

Re: Ferguson TED20 - Mower advice
Hi, Firstly you need to be aware that you may or may not have a standard pto stub shaft. Adaptors are available. Obviously the diehard would suggest a Ferguson fingerbar mower. Designed for the tractor, and with a bit of practice setting it up makes a nice job. But, they're not great on short grass ...
