Sandy,
Thank you again for all of your help. The source of information you pointed to was excellent and allowed me to set up the pilot starting switch in relation to the movement of stater motor gear so that every attempt at starting is successful.

Re: Tef starter motor bolts
Hello Sandy,
Thank you for your reply and the information I needed to order a new set of bolts.
I have now purchased and fitted a new set.
Can I just say how reassuring it is for a novice like me to have access to so much knowledge and experience.

Can anyone tell me the specifications of the two bolts plus the nut which holds the starter motor on aTEF please, and perhaps equally important where I might be able to buy them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Starter safety button problem
Sandy, after several days soaking the switch with WD40 it has done the trick. I went to it today to apply another dose but to my delight the button goes in easily perhaps more important it returns quite easily.
So thank you again for taking the time to help.

Re: Starter safety button problem
