Would be interested to know which route and what you are replacing....my TEF breathes which many say needs some hard work after having been stood and others say needs new rings. Just fitting new rings seems a heck of a job to do with getting conrods up liners etc...yoy can tell never done it...but j...

Tyre size question

I have 11.2 X 28 on my TEF. I need one new tyre.
These days you can only get 12.4 X 28 ( or so I think) . Will I notice the difference if one is 12.4 and the other 11.2?
There seems to be various comments about the industry changing the numbers but I can't get my head round it.

Where in the country are you?
I'm in Sussex with a TEF..have some white smoke and not as much trouble to start as you but only had mine 4 months or so too

Has it still just got too much air in the system. It took mine a lot of cranking, after being stood idle for years to get air out and fuel in.
