Hello Everyone,
I would like to say thanks for allowing me to register.
If ok I am after a little bit of advice please.
My father in law who is now into his 90's with dementia has given the family the go ahead to list his beloved tractor for sale as it is just locked away now in a shed.
We are not sure of the full details but believe it may be an Industrial tractor and not agricultural based on the wheel arches.
We also think the original colour may have been Yellow before being painted grey.
On the plate it says it is a FF35 Model.
We are trying to get an idea of what cost we should be looking to list this tractor for and any other information that may be useful.
The clutch needs adjusting and we believe there is a slight crack in the block but my father in law used it anyway and always drained it after each use.
We recently installed a new battery and it started first time.
I have attached 9 photos.
I also have a couple of videos of it recently being started and taken out of it's shed.
I appreciate any advise.
Many Thanks
Mike

Re: Massey-Harris-Ferguson (Advice Please) Vintage FF35
Hi.
Don't think your tractor is industrial, the rear wings are from a MF 135 type tractor and I think the yellow that you see is like a buff undercoat before the grey was applied as the top coat.
I also think originally the tractor would have had red tin work and a grey chassis looking at the front badge and going by the serial number. Red tin work started at serial number 74656 from the paper work that I have.
Going by the serial number the year is 1958. S = standard width, D = 23 C engine, not sure the next letter, F = single clutch, M = dual clutch.
As for the price I will pass on the price.
Sandy.
