Hello All, I'm in the process of converting my 135 to alternator and have purchased the loom. I understand where everything connects, but despite extensive searching, I can find no reference anywhere of how to incorporate fuses, or fusible links. I would like to intstall one multi-fuse box if possible - does anyone please have a diagram or ideally pictures of the correct / successful connections, location and sizes?

Hi Chris.
On the original old type harness there would be 2 fuses, 1 for the cold start heater plug and 1 for the lighting circuit not sure what comes with your new harness. If I was fitting a fuse box to give control of the individual circuits I would connect to the key switch end of the feed wire that goes between the starter solenoid and the key switch.
Please feel free to give me a call my number is in the Journal under technical.
Sandy.

Hi Sandy, many thanks for the reply. Sounds from your thoughts that I was overthinking it. I was expecting some kind of protection on the major starting / charging circuits. I managed to find a 240 diagram (thinking it was basically the 'modern' equivalent) and that agrees with your advice. I'll go with fitting just the two then.
Kind regards,
Chris.
