Hi,
I have a customer wanting a temperature gauge fitting to their 65 for piece of mind. Does anyone know if there ever was an option for a temp gauge or where a sender can be added to the head/block? It has the A4.204 Perkins diesel engine in it.
Thanks,
Parker

Re: 65 MKII temp gauge/sender
Hi Parker.
The best place to fit a temperature probe into the engine would be the thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the cylinder head, some castings will be all ready drilled. Newar 203 engines fitted to early 165 tractors had this drilling to take the capillary type temperature sender gauge as fitted to all 100 series tractors.
