TED-20 6v or 12v

Help! Im very confused.
I've been asked to help get a TED-20 back up and running, it needs a battery, but there are no markings available on any of the electrical components for me to identify if its a 6v or 12v tractor.
I have copies of the workshop and service manuals, and a sparex parts manual but the information is a bit ambiguous.
The Serial no is TED 177468
The Engine No is S154092E
The service manual states that tractors with a serial no of 200001 onwards are 12v everything before is 6v making my tractor a 6v
The service manual then states in the technical specifications for the TED-20 to refer to the data for the TEA-20 which then states that the battery is 12v 38ah
A further piece of information states that engine numbers S112391E onwards are 12v making my tractor 12v
The aftermarket parts manual that I have only lists a 12v battery for a TED-20, but lists 6v and 12v options for TE, TEA and TEF variants.
How do I tell if my tractor has a 6v or 12v electrical system?
