I am very new to the forum and to Ferguson TEF tractors.
I have just bought a 1952 TEF Diesel tractor and intended to carry out a service as the tractor has stood for many years.
I bought a filter kit from ebay but when I removed the two filter bowls today I found inside a brass gauze assembly within which was a petal shaped filter.
These were nothing like the filters that I had bought that were more like the standard cartridge filter.

Is it possible to buy the replacement filters and rubber seals for the original brass gauze type assemblies as I have searched the internet to no avail.

You will be very lucky to find original type filters. The last ones that i seen where at a car boot sale made by Crossland.
