Ferguson Club Information Exchange

I've just bought a '48 TEA20. It came with a 730 loader fitted. Whilst I understand it's quite rare I want to use the three point linkage. The previous owner explained that you can't use both at the same time. Be nice to keep it as an option though so does disconnecting the hoses and removing the fixed top link redirect everything back to the linkage or do I need to remove the extra pipework and valves? (It's not running at the moment so I can't test it myself)
