Hi all,

I wonder if anyone could help.

I am restoring a 1949 TE-A 20 and we understand, from the previous owner, the spring in the photo is the wrong one, causing the throttle lever to rattle loose.

I am trying to source a replacement spring (Please see picture above). Wondering if anyone knows or could measure the measurements of theirs for me? Or even better have a product number for a replacement one.

Kindest regards,

Richard

Morning Richard

The spring in the picture is the type required, if its not holding the throttle try a stronger spring and maybe a bit longer. If the cork disc that works as a throttle brake has gone hard it may be that that`s not holding the throttle at the set position.

Regards
Sandy.

That’s great. Thank you for your help. I’ll give that a go.
