Fitting lights to the ferguson TEF20

Post by Roadknight »

Hi,
I am thinking of fitting a couple of headlights and a rear light to my ferguson TEF-20 and would like some advicce on what swich to use, or whatever would have been the original switch they used back the day. I have a hole in the dash for it to go but just need to know what swhich to use first.
Thanks.

Many years ago I fitted my TEF with lights. I put Rubbolite side/tail light units on the top of the mud guards and for 'head lights' I found a couple of work lights off a Massey 40 loader, painted grey, on each side of the bonnet. These were all wired together on a simple on/off toggle switch.
If you're going with dip/main lights, then I'd have thought a side/dip/main mushroom switch for a 35 would fit there, or for the whole hog, the 135 switch which also has a horn push. ;)
What could possibly go wrong?
